TRAMONTANA Songwriting camp: The north writes south

Danceandlove, Musikmakarna and Novia University of Applied Sciences announce TRAMONTANA, a Nordic-Italian writing camp taking place at Kubo Studios in Milan from 16 to 20 November 2026, inside the official week of Milano Music Week.
The tramontana is the wind that comes down from the north, over the mountains, and reaches Italy. It is an everyday word in Italian with a bit of romance to it, and it tells the whole story of this project in one word: talent coming down to Milan from the north. For five days, the songwriters and producers share the same rooms at Kubo Studios, with rooms rotating daily so that every writer works with as many of the others as possible. The week closes on Friday afternoon with a listening session of everything written during the camp.
Participants from the Nordic partners are specially selected students from Musikmakarna and from the Bachelor and Master programmes connected to Novia UAS. Danceandlove brings writers and producers from its own roster.
